I was raised Catholic and always had faith, but went my own way for many years. Life didn't go well. I drank, smoked pot and became homeless. One day I came to Our Daily Bread Ministries looking for a meal. I listened to the service and started going to Bible studies at ODBM. Praise Jesus. I was born again. Now the Lord is running my life. I know now that God runs it all. If I study the Bible and do God's will the best I can, I will win big!

I found Jesus at a crusade at Libby, Montana July of 1989. But after I moved from Libby to Missoula Montana, I fell back into a life of sin and forgot about Jesus.
In September of 2007, I moved to Crescent ity, CA and I started going
to Bible study at Our Daily Bread Ministries. In October of 2007, I asked a
pastor in our ministry to meet me at the Burger King. We talked for about 2
hours. The next morning, I rededicated my life to Jesus at Bible study prayer.
Since then, I have been living for the Lord every day. God has blessed me with a
nice home, a job, And I love Him more and more every day.

I was taking five different kinds of medication, smoking pot and
drinking on a daily basis. I was going nowhere. I was losing jobs, friends
respect from family. I ended up living in the woods, lying, cheating, stealing,
hurting others and myself. I overdosed on meds and booze and ended up in the
emergency room. I had hit rock bottom. I went to Our Daily Bread Ministries
where the pastors prayed for me. Today, I have Jesus in my life and I'm living
for Him. I am blessed each and every day. I'm alive and loved. Thank you Jesus.

I love the fellowship here at Our Daily Bread Ministries. It has inspired me to walk closer with the Lord after a broken marriage and a shattered heart. Fellowship here with the leadership and other Christians has helped me heal from a reclusive depression. Truly doing God's work is joyful and rewarding.
