Be a Blessing

Greetings friends,

As the weather is changing, we are seeing an increased need amongst our neighbors.  We wanted to send a quick plea to caring individuals to come to the aide of the less fortunate in our community.  As we sit in our warm homes, we often forget that there are those outside suffering.  We are asking that we all join together as a community and pull out blankets we are not using as a love offering that will really make a difference in the life of another person, and quite possibly save lives.

We know we live in a caring community, and people do want to help, but don’t always know how.  Helping those in need is easy.  Simply bring your old blankets to Our Daily Bread Ministries @ 1135 Harrold Street, and we will hand them out to those in need.

We will also be having a Christmas celebration on December 13th wherein we will be giving children opportunities to pick out presents for their family, and parents who are struggling to get their chil (Click here to continue reading)

Our Daily Bread Ministries would like to extend a big “Thank You” to the kids at Foursquare School who cared enough to step out and make a difference in their community.  The students decided to make Our Daily Bread Ministries their project and worked at collecting clothing and blankets for our dinner guests.  With the weather being so cold and wet, their donations were not only needed but greatly appreciated!  The students are a prime example of peo (Click here to continue reading)

Community Christmas Celebration

Our Daily Bread Ministries is pleased to be hosting a community Christmas dinner and celebration on Wednesday, December 22 at 6:00.  We will be serving a traditional Christmas dinner with all the fixins.  The Little Brothers will be lifting our spirits with their renditions of our most favorite Christmas songs.  We will have a special presentation for the children along with gifts.  We will have practical gifts for those in need There are many within our community who do not have family and still others who are finding themselves unable to afford a Christmas dinner.  The needs are greater this year than ever before, so we plan to meet the needs in an even greater way. Christmas has always been about Love and family, so we are going to do our best to serve up an awesome experience for all in attendance.
